Michael Geertsen
14th October - 18th October

View The Show >>

Michael Geertsen produces works, glazed in shiny-bright colours. The objects are assemblages made up of recognizable fragments of cups, cylinders and everyday tableware, with the work referring to the early modernists and Russian Constructivists. The composition is blown apart completely, the components creating new structural layers, consisting of a complicity of sculptural and exploding decorative elements. The objects expand and capture space while playing around eclectically.
